Pearland Police were active across the city over the weekend with dozens of arrests ranging from DWI and assault to organized retail theft and narcotics charges.

Here’s a breakdown of what happened:

DWI ENFORCEMENT • Multiple Driving While Intoxicated arrests along Broadway, SH 288, and South Freeway corridors • At least two BAC ≥ 0.15 cases • One DWI 2nd offense

ASSAULT CASES • Several Assault Causing Bodily Injury charges • Multiple Family Violence related incidents • One Assault on a Peace Officer charge on Broadway • One Assault Against Elderly/Disabled Individual case

  • DRUG-RELATED ARRESTS
  • • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia arrests across Main St, Cullen Pkwy, Shadow Creek Pkwy, and McHard
  • • Controlled Substance PG2 cases including one 4g–400g felony level arrest
  • • Drug Free Zone possession case
  • RETAIL THEFT
  • • Organized Retail Theft charge ($750–$2,500 range)
  • • Shoplifting case filed Sunday evening

WEAPONS • Two Unlawful Carrying Weapon arrests • One major narcotics arrest tied to weapons possession

WARRANT ROUND-UPS • Numerous Local, Harris County, Houston PD, and other agency warrants served • Traffic and license violations included

HOTSPOTS THIS WEEKEND • Shadow Creek Parkway • Broadway Street • Main Street • Cullen Parkway • SH 288 Corridor

In total, Pearland PD made over 60 arrests between Thursday and early Monday morning.

Pearland Police have not released additional case details at this time. All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
